Tiramasu
- 3/4 cup Marsala wine
- 5 egg yolks
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 lb. marscapone cheese
- 1/8 lb. powdered sugar
- 3 cups heavy cream, whipped
- 2 dozen ladyfingers
- 1 pot coffee, double strength
- 1/4 lb. powdered sugar
- Cinnamon
- Cocoa powder
- Powdered sugar
To make custard, cook yolks, wine and sugar over a double boiler until thick and creamy. Stir in marscapone cheese. Fold in 1 cup whipped cream sweetened with powdered sugar. Layer custard with coffee soaked lady fingers in baking pan. Top with the remaining whipped cream. Dust top with cinnamon, cocoa and powdered sugar.re
